Accessibility is central to who we are. We are working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-off task.
What we do
How we build for access.
- Colour combinations are chosen and tested for sufficient contrast.
- The site can be operated with a keyboard, and we provide visible focus indicators.
- Content uses clear, plain language, with medical terms explained.
- Layouts reflow for small screens and respond to larger text sizes.
- We respect the system "reduced motion" setting and keep animation restrained.
Languages & formats
Interpreters and alternate formats.
If you need an interpreter, call TIS National on 131 450 and ask for SCN2A Australia.
If you need information from this site in a different format, for example large print, plain text, or an Easy Read summary, contact us and we will do our best to help.
Tell us
Report an accessibility barrier.
We know some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. If you run into a barrier, please tell us what happened and the page you were on, so we can fix it.
Get in touch
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback as soon as we reasonably can, and to prioritise fixes that affect people's ability to access essential information and support.
